Manifestation Meditation

Less than a year ago I wrote a blog post on the benefits of meditation and pain relief. This post will also touch on meditation, but with an emphasis on manifesting our potential when we quiet the mind. We all are capable of meditation and this great power resides in us. We don’t have to meditate for countless hours to feel the benefits. All it takes is patience and practice. 

Positive thinking is sometimes seen as a cliché but being positive most of the time improves mood, energy and your overall well being. What I, and many others, refer to manifestation meditation can help bring positive changes to your life by altering thoughts. Think of all the unconscious, negative thoughts you have throughout the day. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a switch that could change them into positive ones? Meditation is just that – a switch! Many of us have heard of the Law of Attraction, manifestation meditation works like the Law of Attraction to bring about a change in your life. 

Yes, it can be a challenge to detach oneself from the persistent mind chatter. Meditation is about centering your focus to release yourself from the persistent mind chatter and the outward energy that controls so much of life. Centering your attention can be done by focusing on your breath, an image or a sound. In addition, you can chant a mantra or an affirmation. When thoughts randomly pop into your mind, observe without judgment and then simply let them go without attachment.

So how does meditation help you reach your potential? Meditation helps you get into a “receiving mode” and helps you to reach that a high vibrational state of allowing you to receive more readily throughout the day. The more often you can reach the receiving mode, the faster your desires are able to manifest into your life. When you meditate you let go of resistant thoughts and limiting beliefs. Your mind becomes so still that the subconscious putdowns become fewer and have less effect. During meditation you open yourself up to higher frequencies and allow the Law of Attraction to clear a path to start manifesting your desires. When you meditate on a regular basis, you will start to become more positive and open to receive that which is good in all areas of your life and throughout the day.

Don’t get bogged down by how much time to spend in a meditative state, but rather focus on sitting or lying quietly and going inside yourself. Over time it will become a habit and your practice will grow in duration. Practice however long feels comfortable for you.
