Would you like to learn more about meditation?

Beginner meditation group starting soon. If you would like more information please contact Lite Within. Classes will be Wednesday nights 6:30pm – 7:30 pm.

Meditation and Healing Circle. Please contact Lite Within for more info.  The group will meet Wednesdays 8:00 pm – 9:30 pm.  By donation minimum $2.00.

Meditation

Meditation is a lifestyle change. A known practice that has been around for centuries. Through meditation we can learn to access the relaxation response to:
* Ease anxiety;
* Ease stress;
* Help quiet the mind;
* Ease discomfort; and
* Help decrease blood pressure.

Increased happiness, vitality and overall well being improves
mindfulness, helping with being in the present, the here and now.

Elements of Meditation

To meditate you need a quiet place to sit comfortably away from distraction. A point of focus is required (Lite Within meditation practice uses the breath as a focal point). A focal point helps to bring your awareness inward. With a regular meditation practice a mind that becomes quiet, at peace, free of chatter is possible.
